the ang mo that was not to be
We were expecting a new colleague tomorrow at work but he came today to check out the office. The whole thing is quite hilarious actually. We were told that there will be a former Belgium national water polo player coming to join our PEC team (I'm in TLE, so its a different team). So all of us were imagining this tall, blonde ang mo with blue eyes to show up, especially since his last name was Ricalle, I mean how much more ang mo can you be?
Well, he just showed up at our office, and whaddaya know, he's Chinese! Or at least he looks Chinese, he could easily be Japanese or Korean. Anyway its quite hilarious, think all of us were shocked silent. He's married anyway so no one in the office stands a chance. Lolz.. he's sitting next to me, so he's my new neighbour since AH left. His official first day is tomorrow, so let's see how that goes.
In other news, I'm getting a haircut tomorrow and to pass MH the other Harry Potter books. Think she's really enjoying it. Mum's back from HK too and with her back, the sun's back too :)
