Decisions, decisions

Long and tiring day yesterday even though I was on half day leave. Had a presentation with EK at a client's place and I was so worried I would be late. I really really really hate CTE, it's always jam-packed with cars, no matter how much the bloody government raises ERP by, it's still jam! Haven't they realised by now they need to build an alternative way for people to reach town from the north part of Singapore? Good grief, I really wonder why on earth they are being paid million dollar salaries... It's just like that stupid minister who said that taxi surcharges should be raised so there is no problem in getting taxis. I say, remove all bloody surcharges, so taxis won't wait for people to call them and we'll solve the damn problem once and for all.

After the presentation (which went pretty alright), I had lunch with my cousin BZ. She got into SQ as cabin crew and needed me to act as her surety. We had lunch at Sakae@Wheelock before going down to STC. I must say in all my 27 years, this was the one time that we spent so much time together. Usually, I only see her during CNY and even then we don't have much chance to talk since there are so many other relatives in my place that I have to go entertain. Anyway we had a good time, talking about her work, my work and of course my upcoming wedding. She is a nice girl even though I don't like her parents that much.

Went to the library afterwards and borrowed a book on Anne Boleyn. So far, it's interesting but I do hope I have the time to finish it. What with all The Economist which IT is throwing at me and books and Straits Times (which I'm still reading since my subscription hasn't ended and I think they are crap now), I really don't know where to find the time.

Had 3 videographers appointment yesterday and I think we will make a decision soon. We went down to The Wedding Paparazzi again and met up with another girl, Ami. She was really nice and I must say much warmer than Blossom. She also gave us some really good ideas and I was kind of sold by her. Later, we met up with Adrian from Avenue 8. I so DO NOT like this guy. I've already emailed him and told him we are looking for videographers but he brought out all these photo albums to show us instead. While their videos were alright, I just don't like him, didn't get a good vibe from him too. The last one we met was emotionpix which apparently quite a few of our friends used. Their videos were also nice and they were a lot cheaper than Wedding Paparazzi. So I think in the end, we will go with emotionpix, but the guy is super soft spoken. Anyway its time we make a decision so we can move on, move on!

Dinner tonight with AC. That poor gal was hospitalized as she was vomitting so much. I sure hope it stops soon cos otherwise she would be vomitting right up to her delivery date.
