the private sale that was not so private after all
So we took a cab to town to the Loreal private sale which turned out to be not so private afterall as there was a whole room full of people queuing up to enter the other room to buy stuff. Lolz.... it was quite crazy seriously and we gave up after 15 minutes of queuing.
We headed out to look for lunch and whaddaya know, my colleagues got into a shouting match with a lady at Killiney Kopitiam. We were all looking for places to eat and EK was at Killiney waiting for a bunch of guys to vacate their seats as they looked like they were done. Then the next table became available and this lady swooped out of nowhere and sat down at that table. If I understand the whole situation correctly, the lady then glared at my colleagues and made a remark that there is a queue system and that my colleagues were rude. Somehow they started shouting at each other and when I found them, BS was saying something like 'are you menopausing' or something like that. I was so shocked, haha... In the end, needless to say we did not eat at Killiney Kopitiam but instead ate at the nasi padang stall next door. And since it was lunch time and everywhere was crowded, we ended up squeezing with 2 guys in a table meant for 4.
In work related news, EK told me the resourcing story for the CCA project. Honestly, I couldn't care less now. I don't see how I can request to be or not to be on any particular project so I will just do whatever comes along. EK was saying the management wants me to have my own project so they will place me on any project that comes along, to me that's all just talk. Since the day I joined, I have just been roped in to help other people out. So all this talk is just bullshit.
Anyway enough about work, its boring me to death anyway. Dinner late!
