healthcare/politics rant
well, as everyone knows im pissed about campbell getting in *again*....here's a little witness to some steroid *rage*
campbell has fucked the healthcare system so much its ridiculous...and now itll be staying the same for another 4 years. constant short-staffing cuz the asshole won't hire more staff/create more lines for nursing. there's not even enough casuals to cover people cuz he won't hire them! and the thing that pisses me off most is people bitch and complain about long wait times in the ER and having to be nursed in the hallway---then why the fuck do you elect someone like campbell back in?! its your own fucking fault! the reason this is happening: cuz campbell has closed seniors beds and is privatizing all the care homes for seniors!!! that bed you're waiting for? its taken by a senior waiting *MONTHS* to get into a bed in a care home. and ya know what it isnt going to happen cuz they're waiting for someone to *DIE* so they can have their bed. it's not their fault. don't get me wrong...im not bitching about the seniors. i think its horrible that they should have to spend the last years of their lives stuck in a hospital cuz there is no where for them to go. its completely disrespectful. do you want your grandma sitting in the hospital where shes susceptible to all the nosocomial infections? half of them end up with cdiff or uti's or whatnot. and then they're stuck there even longer..or worse *they* die waiting for someone else to die!!! so next time you go to emerg..don't bitch about the wait time or the hallway nursing or having to wait *3* days on a stretcher to get a ward bed....its the liberals fault this is happening. oh! and look at your own grandmother and tell me if you want her waiting in the hospital for months (seriously...months) for a real home again. oh! and don't bitch when it takes me 3 hours to get you a glass of water cuz we're short staffed and i have much better and more important things to be doing!!!
