Ugh! So many extra credit assignments, so few hours in a day! Actually, I can't remember when I've ever had such a fun summer! Ron and Harry think I'm mad, of course. What's wrong with wanting to get a little ahead?
Crookshanks completely shredded the draperies in our dormitory room today. Really, I don't know what could have gotten into him! Silly cat! Oh well. No harm done. I was the first to go back to our room after lunch, and was able to fix up the draperies with a little charm before anyone noticed.
I wonder where Harry and Ron got to? I haven't seen them since breakfast. Probably out playing Quidditch, I would imagine. I'll go look for them in a bit. First, I have to read just one more chapter...
