Friday - Saturday - Sunday I went to C2E2. The details are fairly banal. As cons go c2e2 has the basics down but lacks in the 'filler' material which makes cons so much fun. I did get to sit in on The Walking Dead Q&A which was interesting. They announced Stephen King will be doing some writing on the show next season. Following that was the Dollhouse Q&A which was great but halfway through I realized... there is no activity regarding this property except for the comic book being released by Dark Horse - which no one is mentioning... It was a little bit of a downer. I didn't stay for the True Blood Q&A mainly because I was tried of sitting. Which bring up the point that they could have spread out their top Q&As a bit.
Saturday night, Kate, Jeff and I went to the Science Fiction marathon (last three shows) at the Music Box which was a lot of fun, though at the end of Event Horizon I kept nodding off. I had not been getting a lot of sleep since thursday.
Sunday I hustled down to catch Mark Sheppard's Q&A which was well worth it. Seeing his genuine interest in scifi tv was kind of shocking. he kept name dropping writer's names, followed up with "she's just one of us with a much cooler job'. I love being in a room where people know who Amy Berg is.
