Title: Call My Name
Word count: 392
Rating: PG
Pairing: Eunhyuk/Kyuhyun (Super Junior)
Summary: Kyuhyun has a tendency to ignore rules of politeness. Reposted.

Kyuhyun has a tendency to ignore rules of politeness, which he clearly knows everyone will forgive on account of being the youngest - it just comes with the territory. Still, it doesn't mean it's not annoying.

"Hyukjae!" he calls out in a singsong voice and immediately earns a glare from Eunhyuk.

"Have some manners, will you?" the latter says. “I’m your hyung!”

"All right, Hyukjae," Kyuhyun replies, a twinkle in his eyes, and Eunhyuk slaps him on the back of the head. Perhaps he does it a little too gently, because Kyuhyun's smile doesn't falter one bit.

Eunhyuk doesn't stay mad for long, though. He never does. Especially on days when Kyuhyun latches onto him like a koala, warm breath prickling Eunhyuk’s ear as he murmurs, “Hyukjae.”

It’s entirely unfair, Eunhyuk thinks, for someone to have a voice that can wrap two simple syllables with layers of dripping honey. He can actually feel the blood rising to his face.

But the name evokes an altogether different emotion on nights when Eunhyuk is roused by the sound of Kyuhyun muttering in his sleep, sweat gleaming on his face and neck. Eunhyuk has to shake him a few times to get him to wake up, and one look at the terror in his eyes is enough for Eunhyuk to know what the nightmare was about. Eunhyuk was also there when it happened, after all.

“The car,” Kyuhyun stammers, hands clutching Eunhyuk’s t-shirt, “it overturned-”

Eunhyuk puts his arms around Kyuhyun, saying, “It’s okay. It’s all over.”

He holds on tight as shivers continue to run through Kyuhyun’s body. When Kyuhyun whispers a muffled “Hyukjae” against his neck, he thinks he’ll let Kyuhyun say it as many times he wants as long as he can return to his normal, carefree self again.

Kyuhyun does so the very next morning, already laughing and joking with the other members, no trace of that trembling creature who clung to Eunhyuk like he was the only one that could save him. But as Eunhyuk walks past he feels Kyuhyun giving his arm a gentle squeeze, a shy half-smile on his face, and Eunhyuk can’t help smiling back.

Kyuhyun still calls him Hyukjae just to tease him, and Eunhyuk responds by slapping him on the back of the head. Eunhyuk will never admit it, but he does it with love.

Pairing: Yesung/Ryeowook (Super Junior)
Summary: Ryeowook is worried for the future. Reposted.

“It’ll be difficult when Yesung-hyung is gone,” Ryeowook says with an audible sigh.

Yesung pauses in the middle of styling his hair and glances at Ryeowook through the mirror. Lately the prospect of the older Super Junior members leaving one by one for military service becomes more real as each day passes, and Ryeowook seems to have a hard time accepting it.

“I won’t be gone for at least another year,” Yesung replies. Anyhow, if anyone should be worried it should be him, because Heechul is gone and Leeteuk soon to follow and that will leave him as the eldest and almost naturally the leader. He’s not sure he’s quite ready for that.

Ryeowook lets out another loud sigh from his perch at the foot of Yesung’s bed and goes on as if Yesung hadn’t said anything. “There won’t be any K.R.Y. when you’re gone. In the main group it’ll also be hard to adjust the vocal arrangements.”

“I’m sure you and Kyuhyun can manage without me,” Yesung says. “And there’s also Sungmin. You guys will be just fine.”

Ryeowook frowns and shakes his head. “It’s not the same,” he insists.

Exasperated, Yesung turns to him and asks, “How is it not?”

“It’s not you.”

The way Ryeowook’s color turns swiftly from chalk white to bright crimson tells Yesung that he’s talking about more than just vocals. “I should go,” he says in a strangled squeak as he jumps up to leave the room.

“Wait.” Yesung moves just quickly enough to grab Ryeowook’s hand. Ryeowook halts but he won’t look at the older man in the eye.

Yesung draws Ryeowook closer and leans in, mouth close to Ryeowook’s ear. He pauses there for a few seconds before saying, “I won’t be gone until next year.”

He pulls back and they meet each other’s gaze, Yesung smiling as he adds, “That means enough time for you to confess to me properly.”

Ryeowook looks like he might just burst from embarrassment, but Yesung thinks he has the potential to improve. They still have another year after all.

Pairing: Koyama/Leeteuk (NEWS/Super Junior)
Summary: Koyama gets mistaken for someone else. Reposted.

Shige just got back from touring Seoul’s museums on his own - allowing Koyama and Leeteuk some quality time alone - when he met the pair at the hotel hobby. Koyama looked upset, while Leeteuk had one arm around him and was rubbing his shoulder gently.

“What’s the matter?” Shige asked.

Leeteuk winced like he hoped Shige wasn’t going to ask. “Just a misunderstanding.”

“We were walking together when some Super Junior fans saw us,” Koyama said, his expression gloomy. “They said hi to Leeteuk, and then... they called me Eunhyuk-oppa.”

Shige smiled despite himself. “Well, you do look a bit like him.”

“You both have nice eyes,” Leeteuk offered, but he shut his mouth when Koyama gave him a deathly glare.

The look on Koyama’s face made Shige laugh, although Leeteuk kept giving him signals to stop. He decided to return to his hotel room and readily left it to Leeteuk to console a still displeased Koyama - that was the boyfriend’s job.

Pairing: one-sided Leeteuk/Donghae (Super Junior)
Summary: Leeteuk likes to say he watches Donghae grow up. Donghae likes to think the observation goes both ways.

Act I

Leeteuk likes to say he watches Donghae grow up. Donghae likes to think the observation goes both ways.

He bears witness as to how Leeteuk evolves into a leader, a position he learns about on the spot, letting himself simultaneously become a shield to protect the members and a safety net for them to fall back on. Donghae watches as Leeteuk worries himself sick over tight performance schedules, complex dance formations that allow no margin for error, members who suddenly get the flu the morning before a concert.

Leeteuk takes on burdens too heavy for one person to carry alone, and sometimes it pains Donghae to see it. But the older man simply smiles and says, "I'm doing this while I still have the chance."

It remains unmentioned but Donghae knows what Leeteuk is alluding to - a blank spot looming ominously on the horizon, a two-year period of life suspension that awaits them all.

Maybe it's the years of watching, of capturing up close a person's moments of weakness and proof of enduring strength. But if anyone asks exactly when or how things changed, Donghae won't be able to provide a specific answer. All he understands is the gut-wrenching sensation, the sleepless nights filled with unmistakable longing. The wave-like surge in his chest that drives him, one day, to suddenly grab Leeteuk's hand when they're backstage at a TV studio of all places, waiting for a variety show to start.

Leeteuk turns to him with a questioning smile, and Donghae can't find anything better to say than a rushed, awkward "I like you."

For a moment Leeteuk just stares, but then his face softens and he squeezes Donghae's hand back. "I like my Donghae too."

It's not in the words but the way he says it, like the way he used to warn Donghae to be careful on his way to school, back in their training days. Something inside Donghae drops to his stomach, and though Leeteuk doesn't let go Donghae feels his own hand turn inexplicably cold.

Act II

There are supposed to be stages he has to go through after the failed confession, Donghae thinks. Something he read in a book about denial and bargaining, which in the end will lead to acceptance. But perhaps out of habit, or a pathetic urge to cling to hopeless devotions, Donghae doesn't stop watching Leeteuk after that. Just like Leeteuk doesn't stop taking care of him, sometimes slipping to babying him despite the way the two of them had changed through the years, both mentally and physically. In Donghae's case the physical changes are most apparent.

"Why is your body bigger than mine?" Leeteuk complains, eyeing Donghae's well-sculpted figure with envy. "It's not fair."

"Life's never fair, hyung," replies Donghae, possibly referring to something else entirely. Leeteuk doesn't notice.

After some time Donghae comes down from his high, and a dormant period ensues in which he thinks he might actually be close to acceptance. But Heechul's departure from the group reminds him that it will be Leeteuk's turn next, and he can't help wanting Leeteuk to know how he really feels. He knows he has to express himself as clear as possible, leaving no room for misunderstanding.

It's during a day off for both of them, at a quiet breakfast table with no one else present, that Donghae decides to take the plunge. "I need to tell you something," he says.

"Hmm...?" Leeteuk sips his coffee with his eyes fixed on the newspaper in front of him.

"Hyung, please look at me."

A bit startled, Leeteuk puts down his newspaper and stares at Donghae. The latter takes a deep breath and lets it out, "I love you."

He sees Leeteuk opening his mouth to speak, and he quickly adds just to be sure, "Not as a friend or brother. Romantically."

Of all the emotions crisscrossing Leeteuk's face Donghae recognizes puzzlement and disbelief, which he had expected, but also sorrow, which he hadn't expected at all. "Donghae," Leeteuk says, "I don't know- I really..."

Leeteuk is sad for him, Donghae realizes, and that's as good as an answer. "You don't have to say anything," he says. "I just wanted you to know."

They share a look and then smile awkwardly at the same time. Leeteuk mutters, "Well, give me a hug or something," so Donghae does just that.

Worse consequences could have come out of this. But here he is, holding Leeteuk close and feeling the man stroking his back gently, telling him his feelings are known and cherished - which is more than he can wish for. When Donghae hears Leeteuk whisper "Thank you", he feels little sparks of warmth inside.
