(no subject)
So yesterday was an incredibly shitty day. I went to my job on campus and parked in a metered space knowing that i would probably get a ticket seeing that my sessions usually last longer than they are supposed to. i get out of the session which went incredibly well actually and there were boots on my car. Two of them. Why the hell do you need to double boot a car? I don't know. So I pull the thing off my window and its information for a completely different car, so I think maybe they accidently booted the wrong car. So I go to the parking office and nope, my car got booted because I was an idiot and put off paying my parking tickets. So I had to pay 516 in parking tickets yesterday to get my car unbooted, which has not yet happened. Ugh.
I was freaking out about the money, punched a pole, and then cried at the bus stop for a while until I got home and talked to Amy and Adam and they calmed me down quite a bit. Adam, being the sweet individual that he is, offered me a loan for it but I refused. I was freaking out because I thought that my apartment complex hadn't cashed my rent check for October, but they had and I had been looking at the wrong account. I'm still fairly screwed for cash, but I'm not going to die. I'll have work checks coming in pretty soon, so I'll have that money. There's just been some extra expenses lately, such as getting car insurance, birth control, etc. I can't go home this weekend because I can't afford to and I was really looking forward to it.
