I treated myself this morning by staying in bed and watching The Impressionists.  I loved it.  It was fairly obvious I was going to enjoy it, considering it stars Richard Armitage, but I enjoyed it even more than I thought I would.  So much beautiful art!  I love how they encorporated the stories and scenes behind each piece, then showed us the actual painting.  Richard portrayed Monet fabulously, and I loved the character from the moment he stepped onto the screen.  Such a range of emotions, the innocence and enthusiasm in the beginning of his journey, and the passion he had for his creations which remained for all his life.  After the movie, it was almost as if I felt proud of Richard for portraying him so wonderfully.  That man never ceases to amaze me with his talents, and the broad range of characters he is able to portray so well.

I'm feeling a little better today.  Your kind comments helped.  I'm making a nice dinner, and when I go to work I plan on using our slow hours to browse artrenewal.com.  I also spent some quality one on one time with Tori, which never fails to make me smile.  We were talking about her upcoming birthday and how much she wants a Felicity American Girl doll.  It was all I could do not to let it slip that I've already ordered her :)

I'm trying hard to stay positive, and to get past this feeling that still seems to want to drag me down.  I have a beautiful family, a warm home, a steady job, and a ton of British entertainment just waiting for me to enjoy.

I hope everyone is well.
