GIMP Tutorials Anyone?

For a challenge at Land of Art we're supposed to be making icon or graphics tutorials.
So if you ever wanted to know how I made something in Gimp, please ask, and I'll see if I put can together a tutorial for it.

I've had a browse at your graphics, and I love you wallpapers. They're so detailed and creative! A tutorial either for one of these, or a general one about your process would be fantastic

Why thank you! Sure I could try that. Are there any specific wallpapers you have in mind? It would help me to get it done in time for the challenge if I know what to start with.
Yay GIMP 70% of the time! I only say that because it's been freezing my system a lot lately. lol

This one is stunning! Don't worry is you can't replicate it exactly, I imagine that would take a heck of a alot of work! If you make any new wallpapers before you write the tutorial feel free to use those instead to make it easier :)
I'd just love to read how you bring all the different elements together.

Thank you. Well not so much time went into making that one from what I recall because it was for a 48 hour challenge at lost_land and I rushed it. Unfortunately I never save the XCF files for very long or I'd still have it for you. I'll see if I can remake it or make one similar to it. :)
