Mayor's reply, part 1 of 2 luministimods August 4 2010, 14:11:09 UTC
Dear Miss Hououji, thank you for your renewed interest in my Luministi Revival Program! Admittedly, I am somewhat puzzled why you're asking about it again, but perhaps this promotional ad will help answer any questions you may have. Unfortunately, I am a terribly busy man, else I would answer them in person for you. A copy of the promotional ad will be sent to your CAT so you may view it as many times as you'd like.

Thank you again!

[there's a pause, then this music starts up, followed by what seems like an extended and slow video montage similar to the ones that typically precede the Mayor's announcements, except there isn't an image of the Mayor speaking this time; only his voice as the video sweeps through images of the town.]

The town of Luministi has a long and proud tradition of progression, even from the early days as settlers in this fine land. We've always boasted the greatest in technological advancements, as well as the best food you can find on the Northern Continent--and in fact, on the entire planet. We have the highest literacy rates of any small-sized town--and indeed, our children's scores have beat those of nearby Centropolis. Our town boasts a 1% crime rate, and that sliver of a percentage is a mere misdemeanor involving riding bicycles on the sidewalks. Harmless, really. And once construction on the revamped library is complete, Luministi will have the most comprehensive repository of knowledge on the entirety of Sol 3.

And this is where you come in. You see, we have all these fine things in our town, but lately, I, Mayor Constantine C. Caligin, have come to the realization that in order to keep Luministi moving forward, we need to bring new blood in to the town. Your viewing of this video is the first step. By now, you have seen several images from around town, but let me show you something special. These are the sites where the new housing complexes are being built.

    For who, you might ask?
