Smiling brightly in return Fuu just managed to get a tiny nod in (calling her Fuu would be fine) before the Doctor (that was really his name!) got to the end question.
"Well, where I come from, it is customary for a new neighbour to introduce herself. Then in times of emergency, everyone will be able to better help each other. So, seeing as being summoned to a strange town might very well count as an emergency, I hope that we can help each other."
Keeping up her brightest smile, she lifted the wrapped bento box. "And I've made something for you as a gift, if you like."
Her time in Cephiro had taught her to both trust her instincts and to be cautious. She felt that there was the potential for a strong alliance here, but that she still had to tread carefully for now. Of course, that was simply common sense when dealing with a stranger anyways. Yet oddly, the Doctor reminded her strongly of her 6th grade math teacher - a man she respected greatly, but who was prone to giving difficult pop quizzes.
