It really was just like Raivis to trust people quite contentedly until he was proven wrong, probably why he got into so much trouble so often, but still he refused to be deterred from his belief that basically everyone was good.

He giggled slightly at her pardoning herself and smiled to her.

"You sound like Mr. Japan... He always does that when he enters Mr. Russia's house ja?"

He nodded eagerly at her request and began pointing to various items of food.

"Well... that ones Biezpien maizītes It's like a Cheese Danish, they'll keep you going while you wait... then there's the Pīrāgi, it's a bit like bread buns with bacon in them. Then we have crepes... we call them Nāc rītā atkal it's not your traditional style, we put more savoury things inside I've got beef in this one left over from yesterday's dinner... it's something we call "Come back tomorrow" because we like people to return again. Then I've got galerts which is like Jellied meat..."

He grinned widely, true they were all just snack foods, but the main food was still being decided upon.

"I've yet to decide what to make for dinner though, I thought maybe pork chops or my sausage potato salad... would you like to try either of them?"
