[He knocks on Mu's door a little while later.]

[He comes in, then, hands tucked into his sash.] Good to see you again, Mu.

Thanks. [He takes a little while to get settled before looking at Mu again.] So what's the message?

[Mu waits, then plays it for him]

[Hawk listens, frowning.] That… it sounds like they're using what Caligin and Resarci were trying to do last time, reviving the dead… but I don't understand what he means by 'programming'.

I've no answers, either. I was hoping, perhaps, those who've been here before would have more answers.

[He shakes his head.] It doesn't sound like the same situation… Caligin was trying to bring back a family member, not put on some kind of depraved show.

Then perhaps this is the work of the other you mentioned, Resarci.

He might not be directly involved this time, but I believe we can say with some certainty that he set up circumstances leading to this. His 'Plan B' took the town out of Caligin's hands, at the very least.

The other message behind the curtains suggested he arranged a sale of the town. Whether he was in contact with these people in particular, though…
