[In the park is what must be another piece of someone's home - at least, to Jamie's thinking. He's managed to stumble across what appears to be part of some strange room. A large, hexagonal console sits in the middle of a small clearing, partially hidden by some trees. There's a white wall behind it, covered in roundels, and a coat rack standing

[Natsuo happens to be in the park, and he happens to spot Jamie. He figures he's totally allowed to bother him, being a familiar face and all.

Then he notices the console, and that interests him even more. He quickly walks up behind Jamie and tries to look around him and at the console.]

What's that?

[ action ]

[bonnypiperlad]

[He glances back at Natsuo, stepping over so the lad can have a look as well. There's enough room for both of them easily.]

Aye, well, that's just it, ye see. I don't know.

[painlessfighter]

It's just here? For no reason?

[He considers it for a long moment... then reaches with both hands to push at two different knobs!]

[bonnypiperlad]

As near as I can figure, it must be from...hey, wait! Don't!

[A rather alarmed look appears on Jamie's face, and he makes a grab for Natsuo's arm to try and prevent the motion from going through, but isn't quite quick enough. Fortunately, nothing seems to happen other than a needle moving in one of the display panels, flipping from left to right.]

[painlessfighter]

From where? [He asks, as he's watching the needle start moving.] Ooh. Cool!

[He's going to reach to push something else~]

[bonnypiperlad]

[And Jamie's going to bodily intersperse himself inbetween Natsuo and the very tempting looking button he's aiming for.]

I said 'Don't'! You'll overload those fluid links if ye press that one.

[painlessfighter]

[Natsuo pouts when Jamie places himself in the way.] Boo! Overload what fluids? I thought you didn't know what it is!

[bonnypiperlad]

I...I don't even know why I said that. It's just for a moment, I thought I remembered...[He trails off, uncertainly. For a moment he had gotten a flash of the funny little man who called himself the Doctor wildly pressing buttons on the console in an effort to stop that particular situation from happening. That couldn't be right, though. Could it?]

But how could I remember something like that when I've never seen this before?

[painlessfighter]

[Natsuo gives Jamie a blank stare, quiet for a few seconds...]

Maybe you've got amnesia, but you're getting better.

[bonnypiperlad]

Amnesia? [He considers it for a moment, then shakes his head.] No, that doesn't make sense. I've not got any gaps in my memory. In fact, I could tell ye exactly what's happened from the past few days before I came here.

[painlessfighter]

Do you remember being a kid? [A pause.] Or maybe your memories aren't real. Maybe you made them up.

[bonnypiperlad]

Of course I remember being a kid. What kind of a question is that? Look, I'm telling ye, I remember what happened.

[painlessfighter]

Maybe you think you remember what happened. [He shrugs a shoulder.]

[bonnypiperlad]

Oh, aye? [Have all the hrmph faces, Natsuo]

Say for some reason you're right. What would be the point of it?

[painlessfighter]

I don't know. Maybe you knew the point before but you don't remember it now. [Um, duh~]

[bonnypiperlad]

Or maybe there isn't a point because there's nothing that I've forgotten. Maybe it's just something to do with this place.
