Mmm. Luministi is weird. It could all just be another elaborate layer to the deception. But they couldn't reproduce our food so exactly, and we aren't meant to be in the space ship, so why go to the trouble of falsifying the expiry date on food.
And... I suppose seeing as they are expiry dates, it's a pretty fuzzy representation of how much time has passed. Some things can be preserved for years. [She sighs slightly, abandoning that train of thought for now.]
