[for anyone who has been near the Janus Theatre recently, they may have noticed the non-stop marathon of Three Stooges films. those who haven't are going to quickly become aware of them now. this song is transmitted over the CATs, and the moment it does, tables filled to bursting with creme pies, fruit pies, and chocolate pies spontaneously appear in the streets surrounding the town square. nice, innocent pies...courtesy of the Luministi Bakery, of course.

but like the people in this Three Stooges short, the townspeople are in a bit of a silly mood. and who knows what will happen when people are in silly moods and there are pristine, sweet pies just sitting around...]


❧ Plot Details: ...Completely Different

Couldn't resist putting this one in. Seems someone in charge of the town is a bit of a prankster! All the NPC townspeople will randomly get into silly, ridiculous moods, and can be instigated and pushed to start a pie fight--or can easily be drawn into one if you or one of the other characters starts one on accident or on purpose.

Warning: Pie fights cause hysterical laughter, dirty and sticky clothing, and pie bits to be where pie bits aren't normally supposed to go.

The fights won't continuously happen, though. They'll only last for a while each day before the townspeople get that mood out of their system and go back to their daily routines like nothing had happened. The pies will spontaneously appear and replenish whenever they are needed for comedic shenanigans.

And at times, random other objects will appear, like banana peels, bottles of seltzer water, and even some of the flowers have gotten into the spirit and will squirt you with water if you try to sniff them. (This is especially true about the ones in the botanical gardens.)

Feel free to make your own entries about the pie fights and other comedic devices. If you want, you're more than welcome to start a fight in this entry, but I'm going to leave that up to you guys.

And as a note, the background music and sound effects are still there with the characters, and if they haven't started to notice each others music, they definitely are now. Hopefully, they're not being driven crazy by the continued noise...

In preparation for next week's plot, I'm going to give you a short little poll that...might not make a lot of sense as it is right now--but it will! Trust me! I'm going to try to have a little something like this at the mid-way point in possibly every plot where you can directly effect an aspect of the next plot post, in addition to other opportunities that you'll be presented with during the course of this season.
