Not having fully read through the CAT's instructions, he's more than a little spooked - and not quite realizing he's transmitting his responses the same way.]

Who are ye? How did ye appear in front of me like that?

Little pin? [He glances down at himself and the bagpipe music that's following him changes, as if reflecting his confusion. Sure enough, there's a pin there on his plaid that wasn't there before, and he has a fair idea where it came from. He frowns, but shifts his hand away from the claymore.]

Och, more of the work of the fairies. All right, Xee...Xi...lad. My name's Jamie. Look, do ye know what's going on?
