I'd say we might be able to find someone more official to help- [shading his eyes, and peering at the crowd] -but judging from past experience, I wouldn't count on it.

The Mayor had a device of some sort. I suppose we could see if he's receiving visitors, but… [He gives a small, quick smile and shrugs, spreading his hands out.]

But I take it that is far easier said than done.

Mm. The way to the Mayor's house appears to be having a little difficulty existing, and I'm now sure if it's really inside the town.

You think it may be illusion, then?

Mm, I'd think so. It's not an area I've really studied, though, so getting through'll be tricky.

I'm somewhat familiar with them, but it is by no means my specialty.

What kind of thing do you specialise in, then?

Defense, healing and psychokenesis, mostly. Two of my peers are far better at sensory hallucinations - I can only manage small things, many of which have root in the power of suggestion.

Ahh, that's pretty impressive! And, well- I'd imagine that'd lend itself to helping people believe that whatever you were creating was true.

It varies from person to person, but generally, yes.
