[he looks unamused]

Answers, ma'am. Information. The sort of thing that can solve a murder. Now, please. Take a seat. [gestures to the open chair on the opposite side of the desk]

[luministimods]

If I did, do you think I'd have bothered to call you in?

[puts on a smile and he taps his CAT device on the desk, and it begins to glow red] This is Sheriff Dante Iussus and the time is now...well, the time is irrelevant. I forget these things automatically note the time.

Anyway, let's start with the basics. Name, age, and where you're from. If you would.

[from within]

Come in!

[luministimods]

Actually, it doesn't. [swings his feet off the desk] But you get used to that in this job.

Please, have a seat. [gestures to the chair opposite the desk] If you want, one of the deputies would be more than happy to bring you a cup of coffee or water.

[charmandsmiles]

[speaking of barging in...] You know as well as I do us new residents have got nothing to do with this. You want to find the killer, try questioning everyone else.

[luministimods]

[still has his feet propped up on the desk]

Ah, so you're the one I spoke to the other day. Don't you worry your pretty little head; we are questioning everyone else. I only wished to handle the new residents myself.

Please, have a seat. [nods towards the empty chair across from his]

[charmandsmiles]

[blinks] Am I pretty? I haven't bothered to check. Least I know haven't got any curls.

[he takes a seat, propping his own feet on the desk] I've got the feeling whoever's behind this is behind all the other things that have gone on here.

[luministimods]

I can't say for sure, pal, you're not my type.

All right before we go into that... [reaches over and taps his CAT device, the screen glowing red] This is Sheriff Dante Iussus at the start of session number three. For the record, please state your name, age, and where you're from.

[wind_of_reason]

[Fuu presents herself at the office promptly and knocks on the door. (She happens to have a book in hand.)]

[luministimods]

[from within] Come in and have a seat!

[wind_of_reason]

[Fuu does so, giving the Sheriff a deep bow as she stands before the desk.]

I'm Fuu Hououji, sir. A pleasure to meet you.

[Propping the book against a chair leg she then sits. Despite being certain that she's done nothing wrong, she can't help but be a bit nervous in the presence of the Sheriff. He seems nice enough when he's not swearing, though.]

[luministimods]

And you, Miss Hououji. One of my deputies can bring you something to drink, if you'd like. [hasn't swung his legs off the desk yet]

[naturally, he barges right in and has a seat before he's given permission to, and affects a cowboy accent] So, you're the new sheriff round these parts, eh? [makes a face at the accent and drops it] All right, never doing that one again. [leans back and props his feet up on the desk too]

[luministimods]

[and he swings his feet down, a somewhat annoyed look on his face] And a good afternoon to you too, sir.  Let's begin, shall we?  [reaches across to the CAT device on his desk and taps it, screen glowing red.] This is Sheriff Dante Iussus at the start of session number five. For the record, please state your name, age, and where you're from.

[he arches an eyebrow when he sees the CAT glow] Dr John Smith, age 38, and I'm from everywhere and nowhere. Did a lot of travelling--still do--so I don't really have a place to call 'home' these days. By the way, what did you do just now? Is that some sort of recording function?

[luministimods]

[nods and writes a couple notes down in his notepad] It is.  The red helps people to know when they're being recorded and not.  What are you a doctor of, Dr. Smith?
