How time flies.
Crap, it seems like I only recently made a meaningful post on this thing... and that was LAST Christmas.
My cheery work peeps keep pointing out the less than 43 days left until that fabulous holiday... and I sort of wish I still had that childlike attitude where anything over ONE day till Christmas seemed like an eternity. Where has the magic gone?
Still... I guess that's the whole growing up and getting older thing going on. It's got its ups and its downs, like all things. I feel more confident in my identity now than I did in my early twenties and my teens, but at the same time, I feel like I have so much farther still to go. And I don't feel all that old yet, either. Does that make me immature? Hm...
Soon on my horizon, a schedule hefty with work (as always) and proper school. I'm looking into the Art Insitute of Phoenix. Ridiculously expensive, yes, but I just got a pretty good 'feeling' when I checked the place out... and I want to get my shiny degree in something I'll enjoy being pigeonholed into doing for the rest of my life, not settle for a one-in-a-trillion business degree like all the other little corporate clones out there.
Bah. Life is wacky. This is why I like my internets. ^.^v
Still playing World of Warcraft; haters and ex-addicts can say what they will, but Blizzard has made themselves a damn fine game. And it's not even the gameplay (entirely) that keeps me regularly returning to it-- I love the lore of the world. The characters, the storylines, the mythology of the many races that populate that quirky world of Azeroth. It's a delightful story to experience, all the moreso with friends who are happy to take it at the same relaxed pace and just immerse themselves in the world too.
I'd totally dig working for those folks. Maybe someday... but first, three grueling years of dedicated college and the beginnings of my life in debt. Why is college so bloody expensive?

Next time, I think I need to post some recipes. I'm totally getting into the idea of cooking. I need to do it a little more often. And as always, with the holidays, I shall be baking!
