Splashy days are something I'll always associate with you. And I know what you mean about trains, I think. Perhaps that's why I love them so much - it's a speed you aren't aware of, an hurtling along that's almost tranquil, like the turning of the earth.

that's such a lovely thing to say.

i totally agree re. train travel. also, don't you think there's a kind of divine detachment about it? you're so set apart and silent that you almost feel like a little god.

or perhaps i catch too many 6am trains!

i definitely need educating with regard to sparklers.

perhaps you could combat your exeter withdrawal by running round shouting about fat bears?

god yes. remorse! oh my, it's starting to sound throwaway but i miss you all such a lot.

am tempted to somewhere track down a fat bear and bring him down to sit in your kitchen. he can sit next to the stuffing.

oh, i am so glad that i'm coming down again. i'm certain i'll just end up coming down far too much and making you all so completely sick of me.

miaow!

i don't think that i could be without exeter to escape to. i miss it more than most things.

you're a definite thunderstorm person. remember that time in year 11 when we had that thunderstorm in last period french? (it was a thursday, i think)

and we ran for the bus in the rain.
