Fanmix: Perchance to Dream
About a month or so ago now, neierathima asked for a Dean/Cas lullaby mix.
I said I'd do it, and after much handwringing, rock music sessions at 3 AM, and nights of falling asleep to various combinations of music, some more lulling (or bracing) than others, the end product is finished!
Many thanks to extraonions for throwing out suggestions as to what Dean might listen to falling asleep. At least 4 songs she recommended made the final cut. 22by7 for the moral support and listening to me bitch. A HUGE shoutout and thank you to thisfishflies who designed the awesomesauce pretty covers.
IMPORTANT!
Note to Mac and iTunes users, and those who want to cart this around on an unmodded iPod: This mix contains files in FLAC and APE files (.flac and .ape-- both are lossless audio formats, for those confused) which are unsupported by iTunes or iWhatever.
I've made another version of the files specifically for this case, converting the FLAC and APE files to Apple Lossless files (ALAC .m4a). However due to Internet issues will be unable to upload those files along with a list of song lyrics, until this Thursday. Those who can't wait can try and use xrecode II (Windows) or Max (for Mac) to convert the files themselves. LINKS TO MAC AND ITUNES FRIENDLY VERSION ARE UP!
For those using Windows: I recommend either foobar2000 or VLC media player.
