Wow, so much has happened in the past couple of weeks.

Jess and I are moved into our new place off of Sherwood Forest, a house with three bedrooms, a yard, and the nicest landlords one could ask for.

Thursday, I graduated Summa Cum Laude (the only summa of my college), and presented my work at the BFA show. My mom and her hubby came in to see both, and Dad was there of course, proud as he could be.

I hung out with Matt on Friday and Saturday. Being physically in the same place with him has brought back all the old feelings. I still love him. Yet, I'm not willing to be back together. Not until he's back in BR after AIT. I can't be sure I wouldn't react in the same manner as before, and I don't want to put us through that again. Before hanging out, we had some pretty intense phone conversations. I had thought that we were cool when in fact, we were not. I think we talked most of it out, though I get the feeling he will never understand why I broke up with him if not to pursue other guys. I ended up appollogising for the way things were and that I had hurt him. He in turn, said he was sorry that he had had to leave me, and for being an asshole recently. We exchanged I love you's again (instigated by myself). And there is the awkward place this lies.

I'm in Houston now, having hung out with Mary, Mike, Dave, Mary, Alice, and Cristina. Still have Ryan and Josh, and possibly others. Christmas was pretty dull. I woke up just before noon to watch the nephews open presents (all my gifts had been graduation presents- the stack washer and dryer, and dishes), ate some Christmas lunch and went right back to bed for about four hours. I'd had a sore throat since Sunday night, and though I hadn't actually felt sick, I did require a lot of rest. I think I'm good now, if a bit snuffly.

New Year's Eve I head to Dallas to spend it with Samantha, as per tradition going on... hmm, how many years? Five? Yay Samsa! And, and, if Wiggy gets back from Cali in time, I'll get to see her, too, for the first time in a year and a half. Also must hit up my psuedo-cousins, Hillary and Geoff, and my psuedo sister Angela. So many friends to see! I love it. :)

And then, back to BR to find a job, and then rock at it. Any ideas as to what a person with a college degree can get around BR with a good starting pay, benefits, and a never-mind attitude as to my lack of training?
