So i just found this and thought i'd take a minute to drop a mention that i really, really, like this and the whole concept of the story is great because they really were lonely in season 4.

Thank you so much! I am so happy you like this. Mark and Lexie are kind of out casts in the hospital. I think that is was draws them together in this. They are both so lonely, but with each other they don't feel that way anymore.

Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to review!

It always felt like Mark was an after thought to Shonda, a character that was simply there to help push other storylines other than his own so I really enjoyed this and looking forward to what happens next.

Mark and Lexie both. Look at their storylines for the 2 and half years? It's been the same damn one. It was so annoying. I always felt bad for Chyler, because she is an amazing actress, but Shonda never let her shine. I hope Chyler gets treated better on her next acting job. Same with Eric Dane.

Lexie will be dealing with a lot. Susan's death, Thatcher drinking, Meredith's attitude towards her, and just being an intern will take a toll on her. But she has Mark, he is her rock. And she becomes his. Derek won't talk to him, Callie become disinstrested in him after he won't sleep with her, and then he is still dealing with what Addison...Both the cheating and the abortion.

I always thought that the Sofia storyline was more for Callie and Arizona then it had anything to do with helping push Mark further along or help him grow. And it's such a shame how much she managed to isolate their characters into these stupid little side roles while we had to put up with April and Jackson (does anyone actually like the character April?). All i can say is that i'm so happy that Eric decided to leave the show because now i really don't care what happens to that sinking ship lol.

What you have planned sounds so great i can't wait to read it, and i'd have no complaints to Callie taking a back seat in this one.

I always thought Callie and Arizona were really bland. I never got why the couple is so popular. But that could be because I hate Callie. Then again, I don't understand why she is popular. To me she is a whiney, self centered, bitch. But that just me. lol

Yeah, I never liked April. I liked Jackson before he got together with Lexie, I felt like the relationship was really forced and that he manipulated Lexie into a relationship. Honestly, because of the way they go together I really thought he was going to be abusive. But that would have given Lexie/Chyler an actual story line, so I'm not surprised it didn't happen.

There isn't anything there i can't disagree with lol, Callie's never really supported Mark unless there was some self-serving motive behind it. I used to like her but after season 6 and 7 I just can't stand her anymore, and it's a shame that Shonda & Co ditched Mark and Derek's friendship in exchange for this one (because you know if anyone could have talked Mark around to fixing things with Lexie it was Derek).

The whole Jackson thing was just yuck, I'm probably one of the few but i really don't understand the whole 'pretty boy' attraction. The whole Lexie and Jackson thing never worked and the writers knew it.

I get what you mean by the not understanding the pretty boy attraction. I don't mean to be mean to Jesse Williams, but I think it's his eyes and forehead. I just...I don't know...I just kind them creepy.

Same, I don't mean to be mean either but when you see him in a scene together with Eric it's difficult not to see the difference between the two of them.
