So I'm in University right now...physically. These computers are shit. I have about 45 minutes until my lab, so let's see what I could make of it...
My University is UBC, I'm not sure if I've mentioned or not. It's a pretty wonderful place. Beautiful campus and lots of places to hang out. And there's like 3 or 4 libraries. Needless to say the place is huge, but that allows for more exercise (I've gained like 3 pounds lately D:).
Hmm...I've dropped anime for a couple years, only to get back this summer. I've watched Texhnolyze (great great anime. watch if you're not scared of blood and violence, which occurs here and there), Hanabe Renmei (very slow anime, took too long to for it to get where it is), Niea_7 (haven't finished watching it yet, but it's not funny enough to be a comedy). Of course, I'm tempted to say that I need to watch the mainstream stuff like Gundam SeeD Destiny, Tsubasa, and the new Full Metal Panic, but I'm pretty sure those are just a disappointing waste of time....maybe except for FMP. Anyone watch the new Gilmore Girls and Supernatural? I'm dying to talk about it.
I've also finally finished FFX (but not really surprised at the ending since I already knew about it >=O @ Seph) and close to finishing Xenosaga Episode I. I've a bad habit of getting all these games that I've no time to play.
University is a bit lonely for me, since all my friends are not in my classes, aside for one (out of five).
I'm still doing music, though much more recreationally now. I miss high school, where I have some sort of music education at least every day, especially Vocal Jazz.
Did I tell anyone? I dyed my hair. First, I tried dying it blue (my first choice), but it didn't even come up at all, which was a bummer, because my hair felt like shit afterwards. Afterwards I settled for purple, but on my hair is came out reddish. =\ But there was this one girl who could tell that it was purple, so it's all good. Now it's much more faded into this brownish colour, oddly enough.
Every morning now I have to bus my ass off to UBC (at least 30 minutes per trip) and back. It does not bode well with my motion sickness, especially when there are so many people in the bus, which can be nauseating, and I have to stand, because nobody is getting off the bus. I hate the bus.
I got an iPod shuffle, which has its ups and downs. I'm still finding a program aside from iTunes(fucking pain in the ass) which can help me upload songs onto it in some sort of order, not all mixed around. Anyone who's thinking of getting one, don't.
I'm rather uncertain about what I should really study. As a freshman, I'm registered in the computer science program, but I've been told to do engineering instead (something to consider to switching at second year). Comments?
But anyway, I'm mostly fine. I've become more mellow and stuff, which bums me out sometimes because it's some sort of sign that I've left my teenage years, which I'm rather reluctant to. I don't really think I have, though, but the lines are hard to define. I would only willingly age one more year (to 19), which is the legal age to purchase alcohol in Canada. Then this aging thing has got to stop.
Anyway, yea. I kinda miss the days of the GB. Or at least, I miss the people. We all really should get together some day at the GB. Although I'm not sure if it's up anymore. Does anyone know? If not, we can always go to that RV chatroom in Yahoo voice chat.
