Writing - Poll Results

Mar 08, 2009 01:23

...I must say I'm amazed.

When I finally got my laptop back after a week, the first thing I did was check the results of the poll. And what do I find? Eighteen people have voted. I didn't even know eighteen people read my journal, never mind bother voting. Even taking into account the people I linked to the poll directly, I'm absolutely amazed. Thank you. It's always lovely to know I'm not only writing for myself, here.

Now, the choices that got the most votes were Nothing in Tennis and A Hundred White Feathers. As luck would have it, they are also the ones that are the hardest to update, as I lost all my files for them when my laptop crashed last year. Therefore, I have nothing written for them beyond what's already been posted, and can only try to rewrite what I wrote before, which is never easy. However! Due to the amount of votes, I hereby promise to have at least one update for both of them up before April. It may take me a while, but I'll do my best to get something done during March. Just wait and see!

As for the others -- Miracles is doubtlessly the one that's easiest for me to update, as it has quite a number of finished chapters already. Therefore, I'll try and have at least one update a week for Miracles. I'll also try to have the prologue of Shattered Reality out before April, as well as at least two other updates, hopefully more. I'll fulfill all the votes eventually, I promise! Some of them just... take time.

So, to summarize:
* Before the end of March -- update to Nothing in Tennis; update to A Hundred White Feathers; start posting Shattered Reality; two unspecified fics/updates (at least)
* Every week -- a chapter of Miracles

Happy?
