The first one says, 'The food here is terrible!' To which the second replies "Ya! and such small portions.'"-- Woody Allen (Annie Hall)
It is wonderful how much a little sunshine and a smile turn around a week that was blah.
All week it has been one of those where I've not wanted to get out of bed and had some moemtns of joy, but nothing that was making it all worth it. This morning was no exception; I choose to sleep late missing a Torah Study group I've been attending but decided to pull myself out of bed to go to Temple anyway. It was on my way home as I was waiting for the bus that I saw too aquaintances. It was only a 30 second exchange, but the sun had just come out and we were happy to see eachother.
So I am still in Indianapolis. Still working with kids after school and teaching preschool. Both really are great. This week had more to do with it being this week, than anything with them. For fun with the preschoolers we did the "Lion Face/Lemon Face" warm up that is parodied in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back... And just for the record both Mr. Ted and the Preschoolers loved it.
I picked up a "How To" book on Thursday so with any luck I should be able to teach myself purling and knitting in the round soon. I have the long term goals of knitting a hat before the year is over (Hopefully by next fall) and knitting a sweater before my 2-years ends.
I have also begun the process of reenrolling in College. I sent my application and transcript request in last week, but I am appling for the coming fall. My hope is that this will give me a lot of time to meet with advisors and get a good solid academic plan worked out. Wishful thinking?\
Well that is all for now.
On a more personal note I would like to directly say hello to: Leanna, Amy, Jessica, Nikky, Alex, Rachel, and Peep. I miss you guys and perhaps we'll talk soon.
