The first of many corporations to be looked into, from an employment standpoint. Not because I would ever consider working for any of these companies, but because a coworker made a very disturbing comment today. It's no secret that, despite it being against the law, Wal Mart(and most corporate chains) Union Bust. But they're quite cleaver about it. She told us today that they are told "Unions are bad for us", how they already get plenty of benefits, and about the orientation they have to go through(calssic informational videos). She capped this with the statement "I just don't like the idea of Unions". (Arguing with unions have "become" is one issue. But arguing with the fundamental idea of Unions, is a very frightening idea in of itself)
Well I found this on the first page of Wal Marts
Wal Mart Career's page.
"...you will find a perfect fit at Wal-Mart. Are you interested in becoming a pilot? Then check out the Aviation department. How about a career as a Network Engineer? Visit our Information Systems Department."
Acording to the
"Department's page" there is no Aviation department.
I recomend people take a look, and see what ideas are being sold.
