Growing up
Well I guess its all part of growing up, weeding out negative influences in your life.
Not just once people close to me hurt me so bad.
But on the bright side you learn, not to trust so much.
Blind faith is pretty stupid.
Forgiving is easy, I did it so many times in my life, even if it was pretty damn serious like betraying my trust.
Forgetting is another matter. Some things once done/committed, can never be erased for it will only sink into the depths of your memories covered by layers of new ones.
