Conor Patrick Fitzgerald was welcomed Dec. 21 by Chicago's U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald and his wife, Jennifer, the prosecutor's office confirmed Monday.

Fitzgerald, once a bachelor known for his long working hours, became a father at age 49.
