(no subject)
So, today I was going through some of my old journal entries, and I came across this one. I thought it was really cute, so I decided to re-post it because I like it...
Here goes...
So, most of you know that Kyle had this thing planned for my birthday. He wouldnt tell me anything about it until it happened..... so here is the story.
First of all, yesterday, we were eating at blue sky and i accidentally bit down on my fork. i chipped my left front tooth.... :(
I got woken up around 9:30 this morning by the doorbell of my dads house.....
i quickly got myself to look not so revealing.... (what i wore to bed that night was a little showy...) so i run downstairs with a tshirt over what i was wearing and shorts under... the shorts were barely on and the belt was not put together. kyle saw me at the door and just laughed. lol... that was great.
So we hung out at my dads for awhile, until it was time for Evan to pick me up for the extravaganza. Kyle and I took a shower together, and had birthday sex... haha.... anyways that was that part of the day.....
So, a little before 1pm, Kyle took off with my car and my cell phone. He hands me a paper and a card. he tells me not to read it until he had driven off..... i was like...."ok....."
Here is what the paper said:
Megan,
First and foremost... happy 18th birthday. Welcome to your birthday game. I'm hidden somewhere in Corvallis and you must find me to get your gift. Want to play? Good, I knew you would, but first there are some rules:
1.Evan is escorting you.
2. You may ask yes/no questions that lead up to the answer but does not give it away.
3. Smile all day long.
4. No biting your nails (rule also includes forks).
5. No physical harm may be done to your escort.
6. Have fun!!! <-- (most important)
7. Once you find me... KISS ME!!! <---(Also most important).
8. You have 1 hour.

So, a few minutes later Evan pulls up and i say to him, "Go to Western View" (I will never call it Westland!!!!)
So we pull up, and I see a card and a my little pony....
This is what the card said:
I recall many times hearing stories about your love for horses. Enjoy this gift... for it is only a sample of the future.
NEXT CLUE: 3, 8, 19
At this point, all i could think of was WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!
I was really having problems with that one. i sat there for a long time, and finally when Evan realized i was never going to get it on my own he clued me in that it was the alphabet. So i counted out which letters went where. i had trouble with 19. i forgot to count that one the first time. So the clue ended up being CHS.... where.... i found another card at the top of the front steps....
With the card is a CD..... the card says this:
This CD is for you. Enjoy it thoroughly. I hope you have the time of your life.
NEXT CLUE: Track #1
That one was easy. i instructed evan to drive to Woodstocks....... I walked in, looked around the party room, looked everywhere else, and right as i was giving up, and almost out of the building, the guy at the counter asked if i was megan. i said i was her, and he handed me a card and a stuffed animal cat.
The card said this:
I've had many amazing winters, but none like the winter of 2003. Find your way to to me. Enjoy your cat... Another one to add to the list.
NEXT CLUE:
Go to the place encompasing the rock formation in which i always desire to climb.
So, i tell evan to drive to avery park where the dinosaur bones are. He drops me off in the middle of the road near them, and tells me this is where i am on my own. I was going..."AHHHHHH!!!!" so i grabbed my stuff and quickly got out of the way of other cars. I walked over to the rock formation, and finally i found the card.
It said this:
You have found the final card, however the game is unfinished. You have yet to find your true gift.
NEXT CLUE:
You will find what you seek in a garden ridden by lovers.
So i walked over to the rose garden in avery park, and i see kyle standing there with a bow on him. before i could get to him, he says, "i got you what you always said you wanted" meaning him. I walked over and gave him a big kiss. then he also gave me the ataris cd. Then we walked over to where evan was, and then a couple other people came, and we just chilled.
Then we went to dinner at the mongolian grill. We saw birdy and mike there. yummy food.
Then we played in the water fountain outside of there for awhile.
Yeah, that was my birthday......
fun, huh?
