ho ho ho or bah humbug
Well things are decent here. Ethan has been sick with a staph (excuse all the spelling errors) infection which caused an absess on him bum. So ever since christmas eve we have been in the pediatric urgent care every other night. The worst part is not watching the nasty procedures, but seeing my baby sedated. Looking into his eyes and seeing that there nothing there was so very creepy. Nothing worse then your child in pain. Things seem to be getting better today. The antibiotics are working, but they bring about a whole range of other issues.
All that aside I was spoiled for christmas. I got a Coach watch, a sidekick 3 (I am on it right now cozy in bed), the best blanket in the world, 2nd opinon for the wii, all 7 seasons of buffy the vampire slayer, seasons 1 and 2 of Angel, meet me in st. Louis dvd (1944 judy garland yumminess that needs to be seen by all), tons of gift certs and money. Since I have bugged trevor so much about a digital slr camera I think I have finally broken him and am going to get one. I hope....fingers crossed.
Last night was my holiday party for work. We all brought gifts and played that steal other peoples gift game so that was funny. Then the owner took out 15 giant coach boxes and we played the same game with 15 different awesome purses. Oh my god I am a freaking dumbass. So I pick my box (I was 9/15 to choose) I could have stolen or picked a new box....so I pick a new box and it was just a tiny makeup bag. Now while that is cute I know I would be afraid to use it because my makeup destroys my makeup bags. I was a little bummed in my head but smiled and acted all excited while I coveted all the fabulous other purses. After everyone had stolen or chosen a purse we had a war card and we could declare war on anyone else to try and steal their purse. We were each dealt a card and high card wins so you could keep your purse or steal the one you wanted. Well I won the one I wanted. It was a lovely distressed brown leather purse. Well needless to say mine was stolen from me and I ended up with the same purse but in red leather purse. After the game the owner said to look in our purse and if there is a little shoe charm then you won this other little box. Well well well the charm was in the little makeup bag that I was so disapointed in. In that little box were gift cards to nordstroms, macys, dillards, starbucks, cash, and a 200 dollar gift card to coach......trust me....lesson learned. I am going to go exchange the purse I got for the brown one. I am not addicted.....I just need them. I love coach
