OK well..
My dad has been in the hospital since last sunday. He was supposed to have bypass surgery for SEVEN blockages on wednesday, but they had to cancel because he was given steroids for his lungs and they didnt put two and two together until wed morning. The steroids supress the immune system and can cause a lot of other problems on surgery patients...so since they calculated it would take 5 days for the drugs to be out of his system...the surgery is scheduled for Monday. I have been at the hospital daily just keeping him company. He is in good spirits...just bored and tired of waiting.
