6 months!
Today is my 6 month anniversary with Mike! I've spent the past 6 months getting to know him and honestly, I don't want to be with anyone else! He makes me the happiest I've ever been. He's showed me what its like to love and be loved back, and he loves me for me. I don't have to be a different person around him- i can act like myself and thats what he wants. I am truely fortunate to be with someone as great as him. I've definitely found my Prince Charming!!
Yesterday was Mike's cousin's wedding. Mike was one of the groomsmen- and looked really good by the way ;) The wedding was in Livermore and we got super lucky with the weather. It was actually a little chilly outside. It lasted until about 5:30. Then Mike and I were supposed to celebrate our six months cause hes working all night tonight, but instead, he got stuck with babysitting duty for his cousin's lil brother. So we went back to his house to change and have some "us time". While we were there, he pulled out this marron box with a gold ribbon and bow on top. There was a sticker that said I am loved, and on the bottom an other sticker that said "Helzberg Diamonds", so I knew it was something I'd like! I opened it and there was a ring box in side. For our six months, Mike bought me a BEAUTIFUL promise ring. Its white gold and has three loops, with a diamond inside the center loop. I LOVE IT! I'm not gonna say what he said to me, but in a nut shell, he was promising me that we'd be together throughout the time I was in school and that nothing could change how much he loves me. I AM SERIOUSLY THE LUCKIEST GIRL ON EARTH!! I love him with all my heart!
So we left his house and went to his cousins for babsitting duty. The kid is 11 and one of the first things he said to me was..."Got any hot friends?!" It was hilarious. He was actually a ridiculously easy kid to watch. He wanted to watch a movie so we put one on for him in the other room and within 5 minutes, he was out cold. It was nice for us cause we could have more time together, without having to entertain an 11 yr. old boy.
So today I'm going to see Open Water, with my mom. It should be pretty good. Then I'm gonna start packing for school. Only 5 days left to do that, so I better get goin! At least I have one more vacation coming up...the 20th-24th...to a beach house with MY OWN PRIVATE BLACK SAND BEACH!!
