Taking A Chill Pill!

Hi y'all! Wow, it's close today, I can hardly breathe. We're forecast for thunderstorms later, I hope they materialise! I just love thunder, so I'll probably go out on the porch and enjoy it when it comes.

Ok, so what's been happening to me? Not an awful lot. Sunday night we couldn't sleep because it was so warm. I had a brain full of thoughts, whirling around my head. I remember wanting to find something out and getting up to go google it. The next thing I remember Charles was holding me up, I'd nearly fallen down. I was all cold and clammy and feeling very woozy indeed! Now this had happened to me a couple of times before in my life, my blood sugar had got too low, and I was going into mild hypoglycaemia. Luckily, Charles knows all about this, he got me into bed and fed me with sweet stuff and I was soon better, but it scared us! I haven't had a hypo attack since the early nineties when I was trying to get pregnant and they were dosing me with hormones and insulin to test my blood. They took me off the insulin too fast and messed up my blood sugar levels. I know I'd hardly eaten all day Sunday cos it was so hot, but why my blood sugar levels dropped I really can't guess, I'm not diabetic or anything. Hmmm. Anyway, it was soon cured, though giving us a fright!

Anyway, Monday was a complete white out, I had an awful Migraine all day. I tried to read Moonraker, but had to give up on it in the end, I never thought I'd find a James Bond book that would bore me! Anyway, now started on Octopussy, and am liking that one.

Well, today, woke up a bit late, made breakfast, Levi, the handy man, turned up to try and put a ceiling fan up in our bedroom. We thought we had one which would work, but it turns out we have to have a new one. Luckily, since this is a rented house, it's the landlord's responsibility. We sure do need one, that room's like a turkish bath on hot nights. I'm looking forward to having a fan in there, and it isn't even summer yet! Anyway, he's just gone, the rest of the time Charles and I have been just chilling, playing music, reading, talking. I've had my daily dose of Klango forums. I'm now going to cook some chicken and bean stew for supper.

So, that's you all caught up. Huge huggies to all my friends. Big smiles. See y'all.
