Hey Y'all! Well, here I is again, just to catch you up on my news. I did sign into MSN earlier, thanks
kaydear for the chat, I'm sorry I missed the rest of you! Peh! Try to do better next time.
yesterday was tiring in the extreme, but absolutely brill! We got up late, it took a while to fix breakfast cos I don't know where things are, but I'm gradually learning, anyway, Mum called, and spoke to both of us, she's absolutely googoo about Charles! yay for that, she's never liked anyone I've dated before! Giggle! Anyway, we did some singing and playing after brekky, and then a bit of work on the puter, I got to chat to some people on msn. NB, Charles's msn is weird in the extreme, and hates window eyes, so I'm having to learn jaws, which it likes only slightly better. I installed a bunch of my games and junk on here, but sob sob sob, super egg hunt won't play. It lags like hell, then just gives up the ghost and stops! O well, it really is the least of my worries. Luckily, treasure mania plays like a dream, and I would have thought it would take up much more memory and stuff!
Well, we was just sitting out on the porch, sipping Charles's ice tea, just like in my fantasy, when I got a call from Lisa, Charles's Sister-in-law, asking if I wanted to go to the supermarket, as she was in our area. This threw me into a flummox, cos I hadn't written a list, nor was I ready, but hey! I was just dying to start cooking proper food in the kitchen, so I said yuh, bring it on! We had an excellent time in Wallmart, Lisa really is lovely, and we got back just in time to dump the shopping and head for church where I met Charles's friends there, and Brother Paul, the Pastor. Wednesday is an informal thing, everyone asks for their favourite song, and people get up and sing their party piece sort of. I did Amazing Grace which seemed to go down ok. Lucky I remembered all the verses!
When we got back we were both starvelacious, cos we hadn't had time to eat before leaving. I was going to buy us Pizza, but Charles said he'd prefer it if we fixed something, so I fixed one of my one-pan rice dishes, I used onion, garlic, some really excellent smoked sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, and hot cajun seasoning, the rice cooked in with this mixture, and I added a little butter at the end to enrich it slightly, God it was good, even if I say it as shouldn't! I was really glad to get to bed though, I think the time change caught up with me or something, I felt like I'd been run over by a train! Lol!
Today's been lazy, but lovely. More puter stuff, after my first attempt at the oatmeal, or porridge, Charles likes so much. I put cinnamon and maple syrup in it, but I'm not doing it in the Microwave again, like mum told me, cos it boiled over. The mess! Still when I'd wiped up the spillage he said it was good. Sorry if you think I'm being vane as a peacock here, it's just so nice to cook for someone and he actually likes it! I used to get nothing but moan moan moan all the time, and just cooking for me was so miserable I never used to bother. Anyway, after I'd finished programming Janey's sound scheme into this machine like Charles wanted, and copying a pile of movies and music on, we just curled up on the sofa with a big bowl of trail mix and long glasses of ice tea. Now I'm about to go and make chilli for dinner. I can't remember when I've felt happier.
And that's your slice of my amazingly blissed out life for today. Huge huggies to all my friends, old and new, wherever you are in the world. A squillion jillion boyngs! Smiles. See y'all!
