Anyway! Mum and I are in Kos, and enjoying ourselves a lot. It's all very beautiful and very, very hot, so thank goodness for AC. I'm actually handwriting a journal as well, and each day is pages and pages and pages and pages long. So I've only written up to day 3, even though we're on day 6, hahaha.
Earlier today we went up a mountain on a very twisty, very tiny road. It was utterly terrifying, but the views at the top were amazing! There were some ridiculously big wood ants, and a dry, drowsy pine forest, which is apparently part of the re-forestation of Kos.
I took some books with me, (as one does) and I've finished Queen Victoria: Demon Slayer, which is actually one of the better history + zombies = sales books. I'd totes recommend it.
Not as much as Jonathon Strange & Mr Norrell though, I haven't even finished it, but it's a bloody good book.
Sooooo I'm going to go back to melting in Kos, see you all later! <3
ETA Every motherfucking single drink I have drunk has ended up spilt in some way. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME WHY CAN I NOT DRINK LIKE AN ADULT?!?!?!?! *SOB*
