Here's more SPRING BREAK update-age.
LIZ AND JENNEY finally came to see me around 4:30 on Monday afternoon after the worse dentist visit I have ever had. They got here and told me about the wonderful time they had a Jenney's house, while falling asleep in my basement. Then we ate dinner...and while my father made a vegetarian meal for Jenney, no one filled me in that LIZ DOESN'T LIKE PASTA! I found out in the middle of the meal when I saw her eat a piece of pasta and bread simultaneously...I felt REALLY REALLY bad. She insisted it was ok, but I am still sorry. (Sorry Lizzy!!) THEN every single one of my friends came over and bombarded those tired two with their loudness. Once again...I felt bad. Even though it was hard to mesh, all of my friends loved Jenney and Liz! (especially my Kat ;))
Highlights of the night included watching Ellen standup, seeing my Kat again, Jeff's lumberjack attire, Matty's fabulous hair, Jimmy sitting on me, seeing Corriveau and Mal, watching Liz and Jenney trying to stay awake, and all the other funny stuff that went down.
I put them to bed early (11:30...and for those of you who know Liz and Jenney...whoa) and they got some well needed rest! Today I took them to the Providence Place Mall, and I think that made up for all of my mistakes from the night before! Liz and Jenney both got some really good deals on cute clothes...What's better than that? We went to Wendy's for Lun-Din...(haha my father says that), and then they left. :( It was a sad departure...firstly because it was about to snow and I was afraid they would die...and secondly I'm afraid I didn't show them the best time they could have had in RI. No matter how much they say that I did! Guys, I'm sorry if it was a bummer for you! I'm not just saying that...I know it was kind of awkward. Next time will be AWESOME, I PROMISE! I LOVE YOU BOTH!
After Liz and Jenney left I was suppose to depart for the HAKE residence for a fun filled evening of Hakeness. SNOW SUCKS!!Yea, that's right. The snow prevented ANY of us from getting to Jeff's house. Did I mention it was his last night home until MAY??? OH IT WAS! That means that I don't get to see my Jeffrey OR Mr. and Mrs. Hake UNTIL MAY!!!!! This is a terrible situation, and I'm not quite sure if I can handle it. I suppose I will have to...
Shortly after recovering from that disappointment, I realized that Amanda was coming to my house in about an hour to drop off her car. You see, she also was in the loverly State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations today visiting Brent in East Greenwich. The weather started to pick up around 6:30, and was pretty intense by 6:45. Considering she was suppose to be arriving between 6 and 7 -- and me being the mother I am -- I was getting pretty concerned. I tried calling her cellphone. Not on. Realized I didn't have Brent or Amanda's home numbers, and could not reach them. I called everyone under the sun from Ass Co searching for Brent's number because I was worried out of my mind. (Enter Mom: "I have never been so scared driving home in my life...It's terrible out there) AHHHH... No one had it, but Brian came to my rescue! Having the class president's number is handy: Brian understands this. I finally reached Amanda, and she made the responsible decision to stay at Brent's tonight. I was sad that I wouldn't get to see her, but very glad to hear she was safe and sound.
I then spent the evening being unproductive: watching TV with the rents and my mem. I could have worked on my paper...yea, that wasn't happening. I'll work on it tomorrow, and Amanda might stop here on her way home to say "HI"! Then who knows!?!?!? ZOX may or may not happen, mostly likely not...which is sad, but understandable! I'm sure something fun will happen!
More to come, love you.
