Our lives are influenced by our family, teachers, friends and even enemies. But sometimes the greatest impact can come from a stranger. This is a post to recognize strangers who have affected your life through kindness, discussion, or intrigue.

HERE you can thank a stranger for a random act of kindness.

1.Thank you to attendant on the Eastbound California Zephyr who paid for my lunch when I realized I was short on cash.
2.
3.

HERE you can share the knowledge a stranger once shared with you.

1.On the Westbound California Zephyr at the age of 15 I met a young woman on her way to turn herself into the authorities and go to prison. She told me her life story which horrifying and I am sure all too common. It made me appreciate the rarity of my familial love.
2.
3.

HERE you can confess your love for a person you never really knew.

1.To the man I bought peaches from in Figueres, Spain, I love you.
2.
3.

Keep the chain going. Help us remind ourselves of all the wonders that is human connection and experience. And remember- we are the strangers, too--who knows who we have influenced or have yet to influence in turn.
