To everyone living in Japan that was affected by the earthquake this afternoon, and also those living in the places on tsunami watch right now - my prayers go out to you and I really hope that you're all okay. 8.9, jesus I haven't heard of a quake that large before. I was watching NHK World earlier, and some of the footage such as the oil refinery on fire and that huge wall of water sweeping its way inland just floored me...it's all so amazing, in a horrible, terrible way.
I think the planet is trying to eat itself. As I've mentioned to others before, there have just been too many severe versions of natural disasters happening within a couple of months of eachother. Australia's had all those floods, cyclones and severe storms ripping through the east, wildfires in the west, the US had those giant snowstorms, and earthquakes in our neighbour New Zealand and now Japan.
Everyone, please please just stay safe. *hugs you all*
