I am in fact still around
I realise my last post was in August. I meant to post before now, but it was usually as I was falling asleep that I remembered the fact.
So yeah, the MSc has sucked me in completely. I am loving it, (and have passed my assignments so far!!) but it has completely knackered me and unless people have been standing in front of me, they've completely fallen off my radar. I expect normal function to resume sometime mid May. (Though I do have a couple of days at the end of January after my exams finish but before classes start, so I hope to catch up with people then but there is a good possibility I will just build myself a nest and sleep for four days). My hope is that with my schedule being different this semester and being more used to being fulltime, I can hopefully have a bit more of a work/life balance. Though I do have a placement this semester, and as much as I'm really looking forward to it, I suspect it will take a lot out of me.
Anyway, yuletide happened - about the only thing remotely fannish I've managed in the last six months but I really wanted to take part after defaulting last year.
