What I'm reading Wednesday
Belated again but things are a bit bleurgh so I don't care.
What are you currently reading?
I'm still in the middle of Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews and Scar Night by Alan Campbell and I've just started Elisabeth Sladen's autobiography.
What did you recently finish reading?
Trapped by Kevin Hearne. I enjoyed it more than the last two books, but it ends on a cliffhanger, and there were quite a few obvious references to the novella that takes place before this. It was a decent enough read though, especially for dipping in and out of at breaktime.
I've given up halfway through Watching the Dark by Peter Robinson. If it didn't have to go back I would keep chipping away at it to finish it but I am not enamoured with it enough to sit and read through it in one go. It feels far too detailed in places, and rather than give a better mental picture, it just feels like padding to me. I probably won't pick it up again, but I might pick up one from the middle of the series if I see it at the library as I do adore the TV series and Annie Cabbot.
