Been a long time since I have updated. Thought maybe if I used my lunch time for this then I would feel like I wasn't working so much. :}
Life is craziness. Work is busy busy. WEB POS still hasn't rolled to production yet. We were supposed to pilot on 1.18 and do a full roll on 1.30. Obviously we missed those dates by a long shot. Our now goal is Monday. I would like to see that turn into Friday but we shall see. Since they just started testing ACH and they want to be able to test different location types it will probably take them the rest of the week. To really put a kink in the works my License Table was corupted completely. My whole project is dependent on this excel spreadsheet. I was able to get the Tech guys to pull the last copy from backup but it was no where near up to date enough. I got MLT (database person) to pull copies from test which were more current. Between the two I was able to piece together a mostly usable table. I am going to have to go to the Requirements Master Grid to make sure all the pricing is correct before we go live. It turned out NOT to be the end of the world though it felt like it at the time. I have a few more things to do in a hurry this afternoon in hopes to get caught up today. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to leave at a nice decent hour.
On a more personal note - my man came up this past weekend to help me move. (yes, I moved) I got me some professional movers to do the heavy lifing but he helped me unpack and entertained me the rest of the time. :} I believe I am going to go down and see him on the 10th of March. I'm sure that some of my friends are feeling a little neglected but between work and him I don't have too much extra time. If he were here in town it would be a bit different - we could all get together and do stuff as a group but I've only seen him 3 times now so its still in that new fuzzy stage. Know what I mean? Anyway, such is life. I'm going to have to prioritize the way I see fit. Hopefully my friends will be understanding.
