things with brandon have been really great.
and it makes me happy that carly and i
can be nice to each other.
no drama.
work is going swimmingly
i couldn't ask for a better life right now
i feel so lucky.
to have such great friends
and such opportunities to build my life
it's all open doors from here
there's so many things i want to do with my life
and these baby steps give me something to hope for
i don't mind taking it slow
as far as life is concerned
i'm in no rush.
i seem to have adopted this
"it's all good"
attitude
i really hope it lasts
and isn't just like
a manic phase
or something

i still don't know how i'm going to break it to my dad
that i'm leaving.
he's out of town until
thursday
so he'll only see me for like
5 days
before i'm gone.
forever.
i wonder how he'll feel.
or if he'll even care.

if he doesn't
i won't lie and say ti won't hurt
but at leaast i'll have closure
and i have a much better family
full of friends who love me
to be there for me when i need someone to.
