On the way out, he nodded to Al at the door, got a cab and went back to the hotel.
When there, he decided to clear up his things in two piles. One to keep. And one to throw away. It all ended with Xander not having much in the keep pile, since he hadn't brought much with him to start with. Just some of his favorite pants and shirts. That was all. The rest he threw away. This... here, in this city was going to be his new life. And Xander had decided to start on a clean slate. A clean black slate, but still... He packed the his few pieced of clothing in the bag together with his toilet bag. The rest had to much memories with them, he figured and threw it all in some thrash bags. The cleaning lady should throw them away, he hoped.
Down the stairs he paid the man in the counter for the short time he'd spent there, and stepped out on the streets.
Taking a deep breath, Xander felt... lighter. Hopeful, almost which really was a laugh, considering where his new course where taking him...
Back at Lilah's apartment complex he nodded at Al again, and walked up the stairs, opening her door with the spare-key and walking in the hallway.

"Alright. You seem to know what is needed. I am still new to town, so show the way." Xander still didn't trust him (he wasn't even sure he trusted Lilah 100%), but for now he kinda needed his help.

"Can I help you?" she asked in a pleasant voice.
"Hmm... Yes, I would like this one in [something] size, if you have it? And do you have those pants in [something] size?"
"Of course, just a moment." she answered.
Looking over at Lindsey, Xander smiled and shrugged. He had never enjoyed shopping much. He usually went in. Got what he wanted and went out. And he had never been comfortable in a suit. He hoped he wouldn't be forced to wear one...
