Becoming One
A/N: Because it's utterly impossible for me to write SMUT. This is as far as I can go.

"Haaaaaay~ Teens these days really grow up fast.." Ryosuke's mother sighed in frustration. She glanced at the boy next to her, sitting on the couch, pretending not to hear her "silently" reading.
Her son winced, as if telling her that such stories were just the specs of the current reality. She herself felt the unsaid words travel inside her mind like their heads contained satellites.
"Well then, I think I should be going." His legs stretched to stand up, leaving his mum in silence, still sitting where she was.
"Ryosuke, how are you and Mirai-chan?" she managed to ask before he opens the door.
"Don't worry, I don't have those kind of things in mind yet." he answers, giving her a quick "Ikimasu!"
--
"OH MY GOD GUYS I'M THINKING ABOUT IT AGAIN!!" The brown-haired boy screams while grabbing hold of his thick locks.
The three friends stayed up the rooftop of their school; the usual spot where they let out their inner most weird thoughts. It's kind of gay, but Yuto thinks that stories of their lives should always be shared with best friends. As expected, his ideas are a little doubtful about his male character, but he sure thinks like a true psychiatrist. They go up here to let out all types of feelings and emotions.
And apparently, Yamada is oozing with strong emotions.
"Sheesh, why do you have to feel so outraged about the situation?!" Their little squirrel-like friend outbursts himself, obviously not taking all the drama.
"THAT'S EASY FOR YOU TO SAY!!" Yamada explodes back, "YOU DON'T HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!!"
Chinen glares at him, he glares back. The tallest of them all simply smiled at the ridicule in front of him.
"Now, now! We aren't going to start another rage of new worst case scenarios are we?" Yuto pushes each one away from the other.
He looked to the guy at his right. Yamada really isn't joking..
"Ne, Yama-chan. Since we are all eighteen-"
"AHEM!" the little boy cuts the tallest boy's statement.
"Oh, sorry." He scratched his head, "I mean, since almost all of us are eighteen, biologically it is normal to feel these kind of urges. We are turning into adults after all."
Yamada looks at his friend, still a little confused.
"But it will always be you and Mirai's choice."
--
On the way home, Yamada thought about what Yuto said and sulked. The girl beside him, stared at her boyfriend as they walked.
"Ne, Yama-chan.." her voice cracked, "Is there something wrong?"
Yamada quickly shook his head and forced a weak smile. Although this made her smile back, she couldn't help but still feel the uneasiness.
Their walk home was peaceful. This lessened Mirai's worry. He walked her to the front of their gate.
"I will see you tomorrow?" she says, touching his cheek gently.
Yamada felt heat rush through his veins as she leaned in to kiss him on the lips.
They were already eighteen. Kissing wasn't too much of a big deal for them now.
Well, that was before his hormones started to rage.
She broke the kiss then smiled, turning to face their front door. Yamada stood still, face flushed.
Mirai looked behind to see her boyfriend dash out of the scene. He looked like he was running or his life.
Watching him go as she murmured to herself, "What is he thinking now?"
--
Today Yamada received a text from his cousin living in America.
It said,
"Today, me and my girlfriend became one!! I can't describe the feeling! It's your turn now! Tell me about it!! (laughs)"
It took a while for the message to sink in his senses.
"You have got to be kidding me." he said to himself, banging his head on his desk.
He was so desperate, he had to call Chinen.
"Moshi Moshi?" the other line sounded weary. Chinen was obviously in the middle of sweet slumber until the buta called.
"Were you sleeping?? I am desperate!!" Ryosuke tried not to be so loud.
"Jeez, no. In fact I was busy calling other people disturbing their sleeps."
"Sorry. And thanks for the sarcasm.."
"What is it now? This ought to be important Yama-chan."
"Do you think I should open up the topic with her? I mean...the awkwardness chills me to the bone!"
He heard Chinen sigh at the other end.
"You know, honesty will always be the best policy." he starts to explain in spite the drowsiness he felt. His voice was surprisingly low.
Yamada let out a soft "UGH."
"You know, if you don't like my advice, you should call Yuto. But I have to warn you, he's scary if you wake him." the smaller voice starts again, "Think about it though. If she really likes you, she will accept and handle the situation in a sensible way, needless of it having to break your heart or not. She will give you the straight answer that you've been wanting. You are both old enough to take whichever decision it may be."
Ryosuke sighed, feeling bad knowing that Chinen was right.
He dropped the phone down and rested, finally able to sleep.
--
The next day Yamada decided to spend his day off wisely. This was the perfect time to talk to Mirai about his "lustful" feelings. (Trololololol.)
They strolled the park hand-in-hand, talking about the most random things. The comfort made Yamada forget about all the uneasiness. This was fine. He wished it would always be like this.
"Ne, Mirai-chan.." he finally plucked up the courage to ask her.
"Hm?" she replied, looking at him from the other end of the bench.
Yamada stood up, his hands clenched. This was it.
"Mirai-chan, you know that I really like you, right??" he stuttered.
"Un." she said with a smile.
"And that you also feel the same for me, right?"
"Un! Of course!"
"Then please don't take this the wrong way but.." he gulped, "I get sudden unexplainable urges when I am with Mirai-chan!!"
Her eyes widened. She didn't even need an interpreter to understand what he just said.
"It's just that when you get close I get this warm weird adult-like feeling and-and sometimes I can't help but picture images that make me think differently of you, and-and--"
"And?" she stood up as well.
"Every single news I hear from everyone concerns that..tell me or explain as far as you can, why "becoming one" even is a part of YOUNG relationships these days.."
His voice started to tremble as he spoke. The tension he felt was so high, his fingernails were about to slice his palms. His clenched fists were making the rest of his arms feel numb.
Mirai was dumbfounded. Her head was clouding with emotions, trying to figure out what to say to Ryosuke.
Instead of giving this a serious view, for some reason she started to laugh. She laughed so hard, she felt like her guts were about to bust out any minute.
Yamada wanted to cry. He wanted to run away, hide, kill himself maybe?
But this didn't stop him from waiting for her reply. It was actually lessening the suspense; her laughter.
"Oh, my love.." she finally managed to stop. Her eyes watered, her face red. Her stomach felt like it grew abs from all of the breath she let out of laughing.
"Please.." he croaked.
Suddenly, he felt her warm body over his, giving the embrace that felt right, and not making him feel the wrong things.
All this time, he just couldn't see the hidden, but even better meanings her gestures made. If he hadn't had the dirty ideas first, then he would have felt this long before. It's been a long, long time since he felt this. He almost forgot what he had missed so much.
"See?" she says, eyeing the shadow that formed behind them.
He followed the direction of her stare.
"Doesn't it look like we've become one already?" she asked.
Yamada smiled, still looking at their shadow while having the girl he loved the most in his arms.
"Well, I guess I have to text back my cousin.." he snickered.
"About what?" she asked, not having a single clue of what he was talking about.
"Guess I've scored more than him all this time."
