A/N: Hello piggies. I don't own the plot, my sister does. She thought of the concept and most of the other things. The story is mine though, I guess.
Basically, I wrote it, end of story. Okay beginning. Okay enough A/N-ing and more story-telling. Ohoho. Thanks for taking the time to read this random rant.
Kay, I haven't been writing in a while since I've been picking up more info on who I've been wanting to write on. And based on my fandom, I finally decided to write a story with all my favorite people in it. I really hope people enjoy it.
Character summary will help give the idea of how the story's gonna be, and prefaces will be there in each chapter as guides on character infos.
Don't worry, it's mainly YamaShi. The story will be slow, but it will get there! :3
Yoroshiku!

Characters:
(Note: I used Kota instead of Yabu. Just because.)
Kota Mirai (Shida Mirai) - Moved to an all-boys school that just turned co-ed. Hard-working, smart (top of the class) and as dense as a window shield.
Yamada Ryosuke - The so called, “cool” guy with a touch of aggressiveness. Ohoho. Frank. Childhood friends with Hikaru.
Chinen Yuri - Smart. Likes books, and is into sports. He is the shortest boy in class. He has a secret crush on Mirai. He badly wants to confess or at least make friends with her.
Yaotome Hikaru - Funny, bubbly, and fresh guy. He’s popular and many girls go crazy for his refreshing attitude. (And not to mention his *ehem*shmexy blonde hair*ehem*) Hikaru is friendly and loud.
Inoo Kei - Youngest teacher of Seishun Gakuen. Girls in his class stare at him with nothing but dirty thoughts. Inoo is the mathematics teacher. He’s a perfect gentleman and likes to smile. (He’s pretty good at making girls like him.)
Kota Yabu - Eldest brother of Mirai. Cool and calm. He takes care of Mirai and admits her to Seishun Gakuen after their parents left. He works as a bartender.
Kota Yuya (Takaki Yuya) - 2nd eldest brother of Mirai. He brings girls at home every night after work. (He works as a host. HAHA.) Although he is the ultimate living definition of playboy, he is pretty strict with Mirai.
Kota Daiki (Daiki Arioka) - 3rd eldest brother(/mother of the house) of Mirai. He’s kind, sweet and always stays by Mirai’s side when she’s in trouble. He spoils her the most making him the only brother she can probably seriously relate to. He’s not gay. Takaki and Yabu dislike it though.
Kota Ryutaro (Morimoto Ryutaro) - Youngest in the family. He comes after Mirai. Childish and irritating, often gets on Mirai’s nerves. He likes to prank his siblings and is always getting himself into trouble at school.
Okamoto Keito - Mirai’s childhood friend and right hand man. He has a calm personality that often gets the best of everything. Keito is an average, and neutrally responsible student. He is always there for Mirai.
Nakajima Yuto - Bright and kind. He is Mirai and Keito’s best friend. He is shy amongst other girls besides Mirai. He has issues with women and barely talks to any one of them. He likes being with Mirai and Keito and is most comfortable with them.

PREFACE
My name is Kota Mirai. Been (barely) breathing for 18 years now. Simple, cool and nothing else in between. I live with four brothers and a dog. Since I’m the only girl at home, I would often lock myself in my room and study or do my own girly things rather than try to get along with my brothers. My parents left to work in abroad 2 years ago. I’m a 3rd year student studying in Seishun Gakuen.
Yes, Seishun Gakuen. It used to be a school exclusively for boys, so the ratio of boy-girl population most likely is 1 girl to 10 boys.
You get it right? I live in a world where males are undeniably dominant. Not that I have anything to complain about it, but sometimes it just becomes out of hand.
Boys in my school regularly follow me around. I perfectly understand since girls practically do not exist in their environment. It just makes me wonder why they would always call me “dense.”
Me? Dense? I don’t see it.
I have 2 best friends by the way. They understand me and accept my femininity. They are both boys, and they don’t mind me sharing my girly side. Even if my brothers insist that they are partially gay, I like the fact that they are always an exception to my harsh judgment amongst the male kind.
My eldest brother works at a bar and my 2nd eldest brother works at a club. My 3rd eldest brother takes care of the house and is practically the mother of the home. Lastly my little brother, (whom I wish had never come, sometimes.. Sometimes.) works full-time in his evil lair planning on how to ruin other people’s (especially mine) lives.
Life is okay as I take it. Going with the flow is easy. Coping up is the hard part.
ONE
“MIRAI!!!! BREAKFAST IS READY!!” I heard Onii-chan scream.
The drowsiness was still there.
“MIRAI!!!” He repeated.

I felt a sudden quake as my brother Ryutaro rocked my bed like there’s no tomorrow.
“I’m up.” I managed to keep my cool, “I’ll be right down.”
He ran out of my room and slammed the door. How did he get in anyway?
I lifted myself from my pillow, dragged my feet to the bathroom and washed my face. The coolness of the water woke me up a bit.
Walking down from the stairs heavily was an easy job. Pretending to have not had sleep the whole night was not so much. I sat down staring at my breakfast still seeing imaginary numbers everywhere. Okay, that’s the last time I’m staying up late to study.
Eggs and toast.
“Onii-chan, we are Japanese.” I said softly as my elder brother Daiki put more toast on my plate.
He rolled his eyes and wiped both hands on his apron that said, “World’s best Mother.”
“I wanted to be different today!” He says happily, then shakes his head, “plus I woke up late so I didn’t have time to prepare a Japanese breakfast.”
He stretched his arms and sat on the chair in front of me. I looked around to see any more signs of ridicule.
None.
Okay this was abnormal, for me at least. Usually my brother Yabu would come in dead tired and my brother Takaki would come down from the stairs with some random girl. Ryutaro on the other hand..
Hold on.
“Where is everyone?” I asked, fiddling with my eggs and toast, trying to unimagine the numbers that were flying from my food.
Dai-nii answered while chewing on his toast, “Oh, Yabu-nii is already asleep, and Takaki-nii just left because he had a date. Ryutaro went off to school now.”
I froze.
“What?” I managed not to shout, “what time is it?”
He looked at his watch as if everything was fine.
“Oh it’s 7:30, why?”
The toast and eggs mixed in my mouth as I chewed furiously. I then drank my juice and ran upstairs.
My door knob was broken.
I narrowed my eyes in frustration/anger.
Ryutaro.
--
My heart raced as I panted for beloved air in the school hallway. I ran my lungs out while looking for my current class. I already missed homeroom period. Oh my God.
As I focused straight ahead I didn’t notice someone run across my way.
The next thing I knew was I was on the ground, and my butt and head hurt.
A tall blonde boy stood up and helped me get back on my feet. He stared at my eyes and gave off a bright smile.
His teeth were all crooked and his eyes followed the brightness of his smile.
Confused and in pain, I bowed and gave off a guilty grin.
“Sumimasen!” I apologized, “I am really late and I didn’t see-“
“It’s okay!” He said giving another bright smile along with a thumbs-up, “I’m pretty late myself. Which class are off to?”
I sighed with utter hopelessness.
“I have no idea, I left my schedule at home and now I’m lost. I’m trying to find my classmates.”
“What’s your section?” He asked again, “I might know where you should go.”
“Anou...class 3-C.”
“Oh! You have math now!”
Oh my Gosh he is a life saver.
“Thank you so much!” I bowed again taking his hand and gave him the biggest smile I could give.
I could kiss him right now!
Bowing for the last time, I left, running again.
Off to my favorite subject. My favorite teacher.
