I am aware I missed her birthday....which was on the 10th...awful of me and so I have been listening to her music a lot....
I have said it so many times before but Kirsty Maccoll was a goddess...she really was too good for this world...
Her voice is like rain...so soothing
but then it's like the utmost in weariness and melancholia too...
How did someone so beautiful and talented have such sad words to sing...?? it fucking boggles the mind...men should have been kissing her fucking feet
Instead she sings
"If I meant so little to you, why couldn't you just leave me be, it wouldn't have made so much difference to you but it meant the whole world to me...so now you tell me you love someone else I was just light entertainment."???
And then the poor lass is killed and all sorts of administrative wrangles and important people suppress information so her family is given no opportunity to avenge her passing...
She deserves justice...she should never have had to die the way she did and see noone be punished for it....It makes me so fucking angry....
I am going to sniff around the Justice for Kirsty site later on after work - god I have to work for 7 hours...woe
When will I be able to listen to her voice and not cry...?? She wrenches my fucking heart everytime, I do not understand how people listen to her casually...
