THANKS FOR TEH GLC POSTER
readyletsroll muchly muchly appreciated and going on mywall when i remember to buy sellotape...
Anyway so Morrissey did take heavy 'inspiration' for "what she said" from the beatles song "she said she said"....someone else thinks so too...
am finding the white album by the beatles gorgeous....especially the song "Julia"...I embarassed meself on the bus I can't stop crying at it...anyway tho the album is being sold at prices that promote copyright theft....I went to try to legitimise my copy from the library and it isn't being sold for less than £15 GAH -I don't think so...illegal version for me for now ta
amway
I have written lots of beatlesslash....George and John obv...but I'm too afraid of posting it up - and its not even dirty....??? i have written filthier things....??
God the grey album is sooooo gooood....must have taken forever to multiply all those hand claps so that they didn't sound ghey to use as percussion - I wonder what John Lennon and George Harrison would've thought of their music being used...? I say that since most of the tracks that are sampled by DJ Danger Mouse in the Grey album are either John Lennon tracks or George ones....I wonder if they would've liked or approved - I do not presume to know the answer unlike the tons of apparent Beatles fans who slag Danger Mouse off for even attempting such a thing...silly people
ah well I am happy that Morrissey ticketing fever passed me by...once I found he wasn't playing my home town it made it pretty impossible so...I can't believe the behaviour of ticket touts tho....its disgusting that they are allowed to do it!!
EDIT
Jay-Z says "only god can judge me so I'm gone either love me or leave me alone" Morrissey says "I'd rather not be judged I'd rather be blindly loved." nice to see similar arrogance expressed amongst artists of very different types...but of course Morrissey expresses it in a milder way but they are saying the same thing...lol...
